We develop automated process control and data acquisition instrumentation. Analog and digital signals are read in or out of a Raspberry Pi computer where they are processed and forwarded to the user (e.g. via email). The control software is Python based.
One process application is titration for chemical samples, to allow testing of various ion selective electrode or chemical kit sensors for water chemistry -- here nitrates, nitrites, pH, ammonia.
Another process application is a portable data acquisition system. This is currently being used to monitor environmental parameters of a lake and nearby soil conditions.
Example soil probes, here for moisture. The soil resistance (ohms) is measured and stored by the data acquisition system.
