Raman Light Scatter is being applied to determine water chemistry.

We develop electro optical instruments which process laser light scattered from samples to determine water chemistry.  Raman spectroscopy provides a measurable "fingerprint" of the chemicals in the water.

The target application is to monitor build up of organic/inorganic contaminants in a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS). Our low cost laser systems are combined with custom high speed electronics and data acquisition.

Various color lasers strike a water sample and the scattered light collected through a spectrometer.
